What a successful week! A second Innovation Sprint in cooperation with the Dutch company IXON B.V. took place at campus Kamp-Lintfort.
Internet of Things and machine data
This workshop was conducted with students of the International Business Administration course in Operations and Supply Chain Management accompanied by Prof. Dr. Kathrin Weidner.
IXON B.V. offers Industry 4.0 and IIoT solutions for machine builders. Lukas Schattenberg and Jan Karst from IXON B.V. came to FabLab Kamp-Lintfort with a challenging question in mind: How can machine builders use their machine data along supply chains for new business models? This is a question that closely relates to digitalization, the industrial Internet of Things, smart manufacturing and artificial intelligence.
The students developed five ideas to solve this question and pitched them at the end of the event. The innovation workshop was facilitated by a creativity coach. At the end, the team with the best idea was awarded.
We would like to thank all participants and look forward to the next events!
