Insights into the Future of the Logistics Industry

Current trends and innovations in the logistics industry, active exchanges with founders, and numerous networking opportunities – all of this was part of the excursion to startport in Duisburg on May 24, 2023.

Organized by StartGlocal, the event was attended by 15 students from the "Mobility & Logistics" program under the guidance of Prof. Dirk Bruckmann, and from the "International Business Management" program, specializing in "Logistics," under the guidance of Prof. Gernot Müller.

startport provides founders in the logistics industry with various offerings, including workspace and opportunities for further development and networking. During the excursion, the students were first provided with insights into current topics and trends in the logistics industry through a presentation, as well as an impression of the diverse offerings at startport.

Subsequently, Hima Bindu Challa, Co-Founder and Head of Product Development of the startup limbiq.com, shared her business idea. The platform for intra- and inter-company logistics started as a start-up in startport in 2020 and continues to be active there as an alumnus. The founder informed the students about the current status of their product, the start-up's journey, and the challenges faced as a founder. This was followed by a company pitch from Marcel Würfel, a member of the PARKLAB Technologie GmbH team. The start-up develops innovations in the field of parking space management and is currently one of the supported companies at startport.

We would like to thank startport and the founders for their time and the inspiring insights!
