Summer School 2023 - From Idea to Prototype
For the first time a two-day summer school about the topic start-ups was held at Campus Kleve as part of the StartGlocal project. 22 participants worked on their business ideas and developed tangible prototypes.
From Idea to Prototype
The first day started after a short introduction with joint brainstorming and idea generation. Afterwards, the participants had the opportunity to apply the Business Model Canvas to their own business ideas, supported by our Start-up Scouts. The skills learned on the first day were meant to prepare the participants for the following day, where the task was to develop tangible business models and simple prototypes in the form of app mockups and paper prototypes in four groups.
In the final presentation, the students presented their prototypes on the topics of Food Waste, Sustainable Clothing, Information Overload and Fertilizer Drone and discussed their further development potential.
The workshop ended with a shared food buffet, where the participants could review the past two days and exchange their newly gained knowledge with the StartGlocal team.
