Pressure Cooker Day with NIAG

14 students - 2 teams - 1 challenge!

Bicycle, bus, car and train - how to connect these transport means in an intelligent way in the future? NIAG (a regional transport coordination company) plans to install mobility stations providing range of services to support sustainable mobility in the region. NIAG took part in the Pressure Cooker Day within the Start-up Week 2021 at Rhine-Waal University and approached our students with two challenges: 1. Development of the concept for the mobility station construction 2. Planning of an interior of the mobility station.

Split into two teams and accompanied by the creativity coach, students worked on challenges during one day and presented their ideas in a pitch at the end of the event. Even though the teams had different topics, they agreed on one thing: parking bays for bikes and e-scooters should be installed next to the mobility station. Moreover, solar panels on the roof could be used to power the charging stations. Also, a plug-in system, heated seats and an app were discussed as an ideas.

"Pressure Cooker Day gave us a lot of inspiration and some ideas will surely flow into our portfolio," says Tobias Berger from NIAG.
