Winners of the Best Idea Cup 2020

The Best Idea Cup was the first event of the StartGlocal - Global Spirit for Local Start-ups project of the Center for Research, Innovation and Transfer. Like most events this year, the yearly idea contest was an online version.
Although the circumstances were unusual, 56 business ideas were submitted by students from all faculties of the HSRW. Eight of them were invited to present their idea in an online pitch, three of them were now honoured with a prize of 500 Euros, a 6-month start-up coaching and a certificate.

Autonomous Drone Route System (Mark Trubetskoy and Ralph Deymann, Electrical and Electronics Engineering)
The "Autonomous Drone Route System" aims to develop safe and autonomous flight routes for drones in urban areas for commercial and governmental use.
Self-Care Cards (Julia Gessler, Environment and Energy)
"Self-Care Cards" is a card collection of anxiety and stress-reducing psychological techniques. These cards are meant to be carried around in your pocket or bag. Because of their attractive design, they are also suitable as a gift.
Builder Bee (Alistair Kane, International Business and Social Sciences)
"Builder Bee" is a new and modern way of a bee hotel. Through a transparent window, interested people can watch and learn about the work of the "Builder Bees".
