This year, Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences is once again actively participating in Germany’s largest campaign to strengthen entrepreneurship and the start-up spirit.
The Start-up Week Germany will take place from November 14 to 18, 2022. The goal of the action week is to inspire university members and the region for entrepreneurial mindsets and practices, to promote corresponding competencies, to awaken creativity, and to enable an exchange of ideas, experiences, and opinions on the topic of start-ups and self-employment.
The Center for Research, Innovation and Transfer of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences (ZFIT) offers a comprehensive hybrid event program on the topics of entrepreneurship, innovation and creativity as part of the StartGlocal - Global Spirit for Local Start-ups project. In addition to external experts, academic staff and professors of the university are involved in the design of the program. The interactive events cover a wide range of topics, including an Alumni Start-up Talk (14.11.2022), a workshop with a simulation game on the topic of sustainability (16.11.2022) and the "Innovation Sprint" in collaboration with a local company (on 18.11.2022).
Whether you have your own start-up project or not, there is something for everyone. Participants not only have the opportunity to gain new experience and fresh inspiration, but also to exchange ideas with like-minded people and make new contacts. Through individual consulting services, participants can also present their ideas in order to make the start-up phase more promising. The workshops are open to students, alumni and employees of Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences as well as interested citizens.
