We have again planned numerous exciting events for you to promote the topics of start-ups and entrepreneurship at Rhine-Waal University. Our Start-up Week is part of the largest nationwide campaign focused on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial spirit: Start-up Week Germany and the international Global Entrepreneurship Week, which takes place in 180 countries and involves more than 10 million people from all over the world.
Whether you already have an idea for a start-up or simply want to learn something new in life, there is something for everyone during the Start-up Week! Look forward to 12 exciting events, such as inspiring talks by students and established start-ups, interactive workshops for creative ideas and networking opportunities with like-minded people and experts from the start-up scene!

Prototyping Basics @ FabLab
It’s time to get your hands dirty!
Our university is a fabulous environment for prototyping:
Although it is not well known (yet), our university runs three FabLabs at the two campus locations and offers various ways to create prototypes or minimum viable products. FabLabs are a global network of local labs, enabling invention by providing access to tools for digital fabrication.
In this workshop you will get the chance to create a real physical prototype with the help of our coaches. You don´t need any preparation or a business idea for the workshop.

Start-up Coaching with Chamber of Commerce and Industry
Reserve a time slot for a one-to-one meeting with a business expert from the Startercenter NRW/Chamber of Commerce and get valuable advice/feedback on your start-up idea.
We are going to assign you a 20 minutes time-slot after your registration for the event.
