Start-up Week 2021

In 2021 we organised 15 events within the Start-up Week 2021 to support entrepreneuship at Rhine-Waal University. Our Start-up Week is the part of the largest nationwide campaign focused on entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial spirit: Start-up Week Germany and the international Global Entrepreneurship Week, which takes place in 170 countries and involves more than 10 million people from all over the world.

        Start-up Coaching

        Reserve a time slot for a one-to-one meeting with a business expert from the Startercenter NRW/Chamber of Commerce and get valuable advice/feedback on your start-up idea. We are going to assign you a 20 minute time-slot after your registration for the event.

                              The students of the Faculty of Technology & Bionics present their innovative start-up ideas in a pitch!

                                Pressure Cooker Day

                                Join this interactive workshop, during which interdisciplinary student teams develop solutions for a challenge defined by a local company. A creativity coach will accompany the student groups while creating the best solution for this particular company challenge. At the end, the solutions will be pitched in front of a jury and the team with the best idea will be awarded.

                                Challenge: Mobility boxes - Sustainable mobility solution for the region**

                                Bike, bus, car and train transport should be intelligently linked in the future – the company NIAG is planning mobility stations that could make sustainable mobility in the region possible with a comprehensive range of services.
                                At the Pressure Cooker Day you will develop innovative ideas for the strategic, technical and sustainable implementation of mobility boxes in interdisciplinary student teams.
